Join the Planning Committee for the 40th Annual Judges Reception!

Each year, the Barristers Club hosts the Judges Reception to honor locally based state and federal judges. The event provides Barristers (law students and attorneys in their first ten years of practice) and other non-Barrister attorneys with a unique opportunity to meet and interact with members of the bench in an informal setting. The Judges Reception is a critical fundraiser for the Barristers Club. It is also the occasion for the presentation of the Tara L. Riedley “Barristers Choice” Award to one Bay Area judge in recognition of their outstanding efforts to educate and develop newer lawyers. The 40th Annual Judges Reception will be held on June 13, 2024.

Event Access

Substitution, Cancellation, and Refund Requests

For CLE events of 1.5 hours or less, Lunch & Learn programs, Happy Hours, Receptions, and Mixers, a refund is available if you submit your cancellation request at least 48 hours prior to the event. A $10 handling fee will deducted from your refund. Please complete the Event Cancellation Form.

For CLE events longer than 1.5 hours, and for special events such as conferences, symposiums, professional development training programs, a 50% refund is available if you cancel at least 10 business days prior to the event. Please complete the Event Cancellation Form.

If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute. Please complete the Event Cancellation Form.
