The Barristers Club of the Bar Association of San Francisco invites new California bar-passers to an in-person celebration and swearing-in ceremony. Space is limited at this event and registration will close when the event reaches capacity.

• In-Person registration:  4:00 - 4:30 p.m.

Oath Card Note: Your completed and signed State Bar oath card must be turned in at the registration tables at the event. Download and print your oath card for signature. See this document for instructions from the state bar on how to do this. Follow the instructions for physical signature (pg. 5). More information about the steps required prior to printing the oath card can be found here.

Prior to coming to the event, please complete Attorney Registration Information section and Licensee subsection of the Attorney Oath section of the oath card. Please date your oath card June 3, 2025. The Bar Association of San Francisco will send the signed cards to the California State Bar office for you and email you a copy of the completed and signed oath card for your records.

Please note that you cannot be sworn in at this event if you do not bring your printed oath card.

Free to attend for any attorney who has newly passed the California Bar Exam and wishes to be sworn in.
