While California is often on the forefront of technology, our Rules of Professional Conduct only recently formally stated the import of technology competence in a new comment to Rule 1.1 (Competence).This CLE is designed to help attorneys navigate the intersection of ethics and cybersecurity technology competence. We will walk you through the components of good cyber hygiene, including risk assessment, adopting a cybersecurity policy and incident response plan, training, and third party management.
