Join San Francisco’s Art Law Section as we explore a handful of exciting and fascinating legal issues relating to art that arose in 2022.

Each of our Executive Committee members will talk about their favorite case or two, then for the pending cases we will discuss hypotheticals of what might happen next.

After the event we will share a comprehensive list of the cases discussed and additional events to explore afterwards.

We look forward to meeting and learning about what’s happing now in art law!

Topics

• Learn about a select number of art-related legal issues from the past year
• Topics include artist moral rights, fraud, fair use, copyright infringement, trademarks, and restitution.
