Artificial intelligence ("AI") systems are increasingly making decisions formerly reserved for humans, raising critical legal and ethical questions. As AI systems are further integrated into larger decision making, what responsibilities do we owe to ensure AI decision-makers uphold our shared ethics, laws and values? Join us as we explore ethical topics raised by the integration of increasingly autonomous AI systems in our everyday life, and crafting responsible laws and policy to govern it.

"Responsible Artificial Intelligence" features a discussion by legal experts at the cutting edge of AI development, exploring topics including:

  • Ensuring AI systems respect privacy laws and civil liberties
  • Preventing bias, discrimination, and unfair treatment by AI
  • Establishing accountability when AI systems cause harm or make mistakes
  • Creating regulations and governance frameworks for responsible AI innovation

As AI capabilities extend into areas once only possible for humans, we must grapple with challenging legal and ethical dilemmas. Join us for an insightful discussion on upholding the rule of law, core human rights and defining responsible AI at the genesis of the AI age of innovation.
