With rents in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area sky rocketing, there has been a substantial increase in tenant buyouts. Tenant buyouts occur when a landlord offers money in exchange for a tenant agreeing to move out of their home. The stakes for both landlords and tenants can be incredibly high. Join experienced landlord-tenant attorneys Anna Liu, Andrew Westley and Daniel Wayne for a discussion on the current state of tenant buyouts, recent trends and best practices for negotiating successful buyouts.
