Litigators have ethical responsibilities to both zealously advocate for their clients but also to act civilly and professionally in their interactions with opposing counsel. These responsibilities can sometimes clash, if litigators conflate zealous advocacy with aggressive and uncivil behavior. This presentation focuses on the ethical rules implicated by this balance, and the ways in which litigators can be zealous advocates and civil in their litigation strategies, with views from attorneys who practice this way, as well as a judge who has experience adjudicating the disputes that can arise.

Substitution, Cancellation, and Refund Requests
For CLE events of 1.5 hours or less, Lunch & Learn programs, Happy Hours, Receptions, and Mixers, a refund is available if you submit your cancellation request at least 48 hours prior to the event. A $10 handling fee will deducted from your refund. Please complete the Event Cancellation Form.

If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute. Please complete the Event Cancellation Form.
