The Outstanding Volunteers in Public Service (OVIPS) Celebration recognizes the dedicated volunteers who bring their expertise to the Justice & Diversity Center's pro bono programs. The event will honor volunteers from across JDC's ten initiatives, including the Homeless Advocacy Project, Family Law Project, Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, and Legal Advice and Referral Clinic.
This year's celebration will be held on April 2 at UC Law San Francisco. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., followed by the main program at 5:30 p.m. Yolanda Jackson will welcome attendees, after which Crystal Awards will be presented to exceptional volunteers from each program. California Supreme Court Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero will deliver the keynote address.
We are honored to welcome distinguished guests including justices from the California Supreme Court, judges from state and federal courts, law firm pro bono counsel, and our celebrated honorees.
